James is part of vCISO Services within Security and Infrastructure practice. He brings over 30 years of experience in engineering, technology, and cybersecurity.
He has experience across various sectors, including Global Custodian Banking, Investment Management, Central Banking and Financial Regulation, Insurance, Healthcare, and Government. Previous leadership roles include CISO, Head of Technology Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), and numerous strategic cybersecurity consultant positions.
James has focused exclusively on cybersecurity for the last 20 years. He consistently improves the cybersecurity posture for, and mitigates cyber risks at, every organization he works with. He takes a business-focused approach to information security, privacy, and technology governance and compliance issues, engaging on, communicating about, and managing cybersecurity at all levels of an organization.
James holds an MSc from Norwich University and is professionally certified in cybersecurity by ISC2 and ISACA.
