Director, AI & Data

Charles serves as Director, Solutions Architecture, AI & Data at PIP, helping Private Equity firms and Portfolio Company operators identify, design, and execute AI and data initiatives that translate strategy into measurable value creation. He partners with clients to define practical roadmaps, shape solution architecture, and deliver scalable products across analytics platforms, data products, GenAI interfaces, workflow automation, and agentic applications.

He brings nearly two decades of experience building and scaling SaaS platforms, enterprise data systems, and AI-enabled applications. He has held product leadership roles at four technology startups, with three successful exits, and has led teams through the development and launch of complex software products in high-growth environments.

Prior to PIP, he led enterprise solution strategy and product development for large data and AI implementations serving major media, edtech, non-profit, entertainment, commercial transportation, and logistics organizations. He’s designed solutions for and delivered enterprise implementations for clients including AIG, GEICO, Wells Fargo, Warner Bros., Apple, Pearson, Instructure, Microsoft, Panasonic, and Danaher.

Charles holds a BA in American Studies from Georgetown University and is based in San Francisco, California.
